2007 Wrap Up
Wow, where has this year gone? When I think about everything we have done, it's no wonder the time seems to have gone so fast.
We started off the year by staying at Mum and Dad's, where the kids enjoyed going to the beach everyday. Then it was back to Beverly Hills and back to the usual routine of work, Kindy, swimming, etc. We had some exciting news in early March when we found out that we were going to have a new addition to our family later in the year. As usual, I suffered the most horrendous morning sickness, lasting 24/7 for around 5 months. In April we made a huge decision to sell our family home at Beverly Hills and move down the coast to be closer to my Mum and Dad and our good friends. This meant keeping the house spotless every day as not only did we have open house every Saturday, but the agent would bring prospective buyers through on a daily basis. This almost drove me mad...my house had never been so clean and tidy! After 7 weeks on the market we accepted an offer on the house and in August we packed up and moved into a rented house at Corrimal. All the while we had been looking for a house to buy but unfortunately we could not find anything suitable. Jordan celebrated her 4th birthday with a party at "Funarama". A great time was had by all. In early October we finally found a house that we both loved and we put in an offer. After several weeks of negotiation, we were finally successful in buying our house. October 29th was the most exciting day of the year when our beautiful princess, Taylor Sierra, was born. Since the moment she was born she has been an absolute angel. We moved house again on December 11th and later that week we celebrated Mackenzie's 3rd birthday with a party at our new home, complete with a jumping castle for the day. The rain didn't dampen the fun, the kids had a ball regardless. The next week we celebrated our first Christmas in our new home. The kids were totally spoilt and got everything they asked for and more. Here it is, 9pm on New Year's Eve and we are still unpacking boxes and putting up new furniture. Here's to a relaxing 2008! (yeah, right!) Wishing you and your families a safe and happy new year.
