The Girls

Just a pic I took today of the girls. Preparations are in full swing for Jordan's 3rd Birthday Party this Sunday. It is a Princess Party and there is going to be a jumping castle, so stayed tuned for photos.

Out Of The Mouths Of Babes

Two Jordan classics in one day. Firstly Jordan and Vic went to see the movie "Over The Hedge". We had seen the preview when we went to see "Cars" a few weeks ago (which was fabulous by the way) and Jordan had been keen to go and see it. So off they went. Well they were back home about an hour and a half later and I asked her if she enjoyed the movie. She said "no, I didn't like it". I asked her why not and she told me that they didn't go "over the hedge" they went through the hedge. So she was very disappointed. She obviously had an idea in her head regarding what the movie was going to be about and it did not live up to her expectations.
Jordanism #2. She was pushing her sister and I said to her "stop being nasty to your sister". She replied "I aren't, you stupid woman". Nice - coming from the mouth of a not quite 3 year old. Gives me some idea of what I'm in for.

Style

Jordan loves playing hairdressers with Mackenzie. As you can see Mackenzie is not the most co-operative "customer". She only sits on the stool for 2 seconds so usually it ends up with Jordan chasing her around the house with the hairdryer. It is very cute to see them play like this together.

Pink Diamonds

Jordan got her ears pierced on Saturday. I had been suggesting it to her for a while but she didn't want to. Her friend Erin, who turned 5 last week got hers done for her birthday, so Jordan decided to get hers done as well. Peer group pressure already! So while I was getting my hair cut on Saturday morning she said she wanted to get them done. I honestly didn't believe that she would go through with it, but she did. She was so good. No tears, nothing. Just a big huge smile :o) I was so proud of her. She had two birthday parties to go to that afternoon, so she very proudly showed her new pink diamond earrings to everyone that she met.
