four months old...

We celebrated by taking Taylor for her immunisations....mean Mummy :o( It did not go down well. It's the thing I hate most about being a mummy, deliberately making my babies cry. It kills me. Taylor absolutely screamed the doctor's office down today. I don't remember any of them making that much noise. I had to go to Gloria Jeans and get a very large, very strong latte to calm my nerves. It was either that or a very large glass of wine. It was only 2.30pm so I figured a coffee was the better option. Oh well, that's out of the way for another two months. Now I have Mackenzie's surgery on Monday to psych myself up for.
Here's a picture I took today. We have discovered fist sucking. It makes her drool everywhere. Lovely.

three peas in a pod...

Here are the three girls all wearing the same Christening dress. They are so much alike, it's amazing...

taylor's christening...

Yesterday we celebrated Taylor's Christening. It was a really lovely day. The weather was perfect (for a change) and it was great to see all of our family and friends. She was such an angel throughout the service and she really enjoyed the party afterwards. She didn't sleep the entire day, she was having such a great time. The kids all had a fantastic time, singing and dancing on the stage at the hall, much to the enjoyment of all of the guests.

sister shots...

I have been taking lots of photos of the girls together lately. Taylor just laughs her head off at Jordan and Mackenzie. Who needs toys when you've got two big sisters to entertain you?
I took her to the clinic today to get her weighed and measured. At 16 weeks she weighs 6.6kg and is 61cm tall. She is such a happy baby. Everything is delightful and amusing to her. I have extended my Parental Leave from work until September, so I can enjoy spending more time at home with the kids. I will probably pick up an occasional day at work after Easter as money is a bit tight without my pay, but hopefully I can afford to stay home as long as possible.

the amazing bumbo seat...

As soon as I saw a picture of this, I had to have it. Amazingly, Santa bought Taylor one for Christmas. I tried her in it two weeks ago, but she couldn't hold her head up enough. When I put her in it today, success! She loves it. Now she can sit up like a big girl and watch everything going on around her. I'm sure that she will spend a lot of time hanging out in her bumbo seat.

what have we been up to...

Decorating Taylor's head with toys. Courtesy of Jordan.

Playing hairdressers with Nanny and Rhonda. Ouch.

Hanging out with Mummy in the scrapbook room.

That's about it.

my ballerina...

Saturday was the much anticipated first ballet lesson for Jordan. It was meant to be for Mackenzie as well, but she changed her mind in the morning and decided not to go. Jordan has been looking forward to this day for about 6 months now. She was so excited. She looked so beautiful in her tutu and Michelle did her hair in the special bun (which Mummy has to practice before next Saturday:oP ).
I asked her after the lesson if it was as good as she thought it would be. She said "no, it was gooder!"

swimming lessons...

On Friday the girls started swimming lessons at their new swim school. They both loved it. Their teacher, Claudette, is lovely and both of them had a ball. Jordan is really starting to swim properly and Claudette was really surprised to see how good she was. They are really going to enjoy going every week.
